FAQ's

  • You don’t need a referral to book in. However, if you’re eligible for a Mental Health Care Plan through your GP, you can access Medicare rebates for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.

    Referrals don’t need to be made out to me specifically, they can be addressed to a psychologist or mental health clinician more generally, and will still be accepted.

  • Individual Consult: $260

    Payment is required at the time of your consultation. This is a private practice and not a bulk billing service, but fees are set well below the Australian Psychological Society's recommended rate of $311.

    If you have a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, you can access a Medicare rebate of $98.95 per session for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. After payment, your rebate will be processed online.

    Many Private Health Funds offer cover for psychology services. Please make sure to check your own policy to see what is covered.

    If you have any questions about fees or rebates, feel free to get in touch.

  • Your appointment time is held just for you. I ask for at least 48 hours' notice if you need to reschedule or cancel. This allows time to offer the session to someone else who may be waiting.

    Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice, or missed appointments, will incur the full session fee.

    If you're feeling unwell, I kindly ask that you don’t attend in person but you're very welcome to switch to an online session instead.

  • Our first session is a chance to get to know each other and explore what’s bringing you in. There’s no pressure to share everything straight away, we go at your pace. We’ll talk through your goals, what’s been going on, and what support might be most helpful.

    If you’re interested in EMDR, I’ll guide you through what the process looks like and make sure you feel safe and ready before we begin any memory reprocessing. I work in a collaborative, trauma-informed way that prioritises your autonomy and innate wisdom.
